Here is my unboxing of the Star Wars Legion “Crashed X-Wing Battlefield Expansion”. The really big box contains a crashed X-wing and three pieces of wreckage as well as a female pilot.
Assembling the X-Wing wreck was easy, although I made a small mistake at one point. When it came to assembling the cockpit, I pressed the left and right cockpit parts together too much. The next step is to glue on the ‘roof’ of the cockpit. Here I noticed that the outer parts were too close together and the ‘roof’ didn’t fit in between. Since I used super glue, I couldn’t undo the previous step. So I had to use pliers and cut all the rods inside. Even though the fuselage of the X-Wing is now not as sturdy as I would have liked, it is sturdy enough to put on the base.
The rebel pilot serves as a objective marker for the enclosed scenario. As you can imagine, in the scenario one faction has to rescue the pilot, the other wants to capture her. The scenario cards are nicely designed and printed on somewhat thicker cardboard. Also included is an equipment card (the pilot), but this can only be used for the scenario.
Many thanks to Asmodee Germany for providing me with this expansion.
